Repairs, maintains and assists in the installation of coffee machines and equipment by performing the following duties.


Responsibilities:

Responds to dispatch calls for machine repairs using company-owned vehicle.

Calls on existing customers to determine adequacy of service, listens to and resolves service complaints.

Visually inspects and listens to machines to locate causes of malfunctions, dismantles machines to gain access to problem area.

Inspects parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems, removes and replaces worn or defective parts, repairs broken parts, realigns and adjusts components, tests machine operation following repair.

Reviews inventory and orders parts, ships and receives machines and maintains equipment inventory.

Prepares machines for installation at accounts, assists in installations and removals.

Sets up and operates mechanical equipment and small hand tools (e.g., drills, grinders welding torches) for machine repair.

Maintain clean and safe work environment; performs job safely.

Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

Must be able to troubleshoot/fix various coffee machines (Keurig, Flavia, open brew)

Must be mechanically inclined/tech savvy

Plumbing experience a plus

Must be able to lift 75 lbs on a consistent basis

Responsibilities:

Properly train staff in operational procedures for turf operations

Attend pre- and post-construction meetings to represent grounds and provide insight to contractors and architects on projects

Material/ supply procurement within company policies and selected vendors

Implement/ manage/ provide financial forecasts and cost tracking sheets for discipline.

Control overhead expenses within the scope of responsibility.

Train team/ staff in proper methods, protocol for horticulture using SOP's (development may be required)

Manage a tree care plan with the tree advisory committee under your direction

Responsible for productivity and staffing that is appropriate to achieved results as outlined by Senior Regional/ RVP.

Monitor period analysis and initiates action plans as necessary to meet objectives

Maintain and support client satisfaction at a level that ensures account retention

Job Description:

The Foodservices Supervisor is an exciting opportunity for an energetic, entry-level manager who is seeking a better way to conduct business. This supervisor position is responsible for assisting in the successful operation of Food & Nutrition Services in an Acute Care Hospital. You will help ensure client, customer service/satisfaction with efficient cost effective management meeting and exceeding stated expectations. Assists in the responsibility for all foodservice-related activities; including patient care, non-patient care (retail, cafeteria, catering etc), quality improvement, sanitation, infection control and all hospital-related activities.Qualifications:

A.A. Degree or related experience preferred

Some knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation

Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience is desirable

Supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills

Communication skills both written and verbal

Ability to communicate on various levels to include management, client, customer and associate levels

Financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skills

Proficient computer skills to include; various computer programs, Microsoft Office programs, e-mail and the Internet

ServSafe® Certified

Certified Dietary Manager certificate or Registered Dietitian preferred

Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check (State and Federal) and a drug screen
