Job Summary
Now, if you were to come on board as our Manager - Financial Controls & Accounting, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Lead financial control assessments (ICF), including evaluation and documentation.
- Perform quality control testing of controls, oversee remediation, and monitor completion.
- Implement and document financial processes to ensure compliance (e.g., balance sheet reviews, JE policy, FA policy, Delegation of Authority).
- Provide technical accounting expertise, particularly for acquisitions, including maintaining models and performing calculations.
- Conduct general review and recommendations on complex accounting transactions.
- Actively contribute to control design for new system implementations (e.g., UKG, SAP).
- Review and update accounting policies to ensure alignment with authoritative guidance.

- CPA designation required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-years in accounting, audit, or financial controls.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge under IFRS.
- Proficient with financial control design, testing, and remediation.
- Skilled in preparing and reviewing complex accounting transactions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret and apply accounting standards to real-world scenarios.
