Job Summary
In accordance with provincial legislation and our commitment to transparent hiring practices, the compensation range for this position is provided. Final compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity. Canadian work experience is not required. Pay range is $66,500 to $88,600

The Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing member (client) relationships by delivering exceptional service, driving program adoption, and ensuring members fully realize the value of Foodbuy’s procurement and supply chain solutions. This role serves as a trusted advisor, collaborating cross-functionally to support member success, retention, and growth.
Now, if you were to come on board as one of our Account Managers, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Manage a portfolio of member relationships generating $1M+ in annual revenue
- Own the profitability and overall performance of assigned accounts
- Identify, develop, and execute new revenue opportunities within existing and prospective member accounts
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with mid- to senior-level decision-makers in purchasing and operations
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop annual budgets, growth plans, and execution strategies
- Lead strategic account planning to drive program utilization, business expansion, menu engineering initiatives, and achievement of member business goals
- Analyze account data, identify opportunities, and prepare compelling presentations and business reviews
- Serve as a strategic advisor by staying current on industry, market, and purchasing trends
- Conduct monthly reporting on member participation and performance
- Lead quarterly and annual member reviews focused on past results, current performance, and future objectives
- Demonstrate initiative and visible leadership by proactively identifying new business opportunities
- Support project execution and business growth through collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Participate in departmental initiatives, including process improvement and strategic planning

- 5+ years of industry experience, preferably in foodservice, purchasing, or supply chain
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in business or a related field
- Proven ability to influence growth with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong leadership capability with the ability to work independently in a high-performing team environment
- Experience working in foodservice, hospitality, GPO, or distribution environments preferred
- Excellent judgment and professionalism when working with clients and internal teams
- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Genuine interest in client success and a passion for delivering innovative purchasing solutions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging to varied audiences
- Willingness to travel up to 30% to support member relationships
