Job Summary
Job Summary: We are seeking a data-savvy Customer Insights Data Analyst to join our team at the forefront of innovation in the Foodservice and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. This role focuses on providing top-notch support to suppliers while leveraging data insights to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. This position will report to the Senior Manager, Customer Insights, Distilr.
Now, if you were to come on board as one of our Consumer Insights Data Analyst, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Supplier Support: Provide white glove support to 30+ suppliers, ensuring their needs are met and collaborating with internal teams to drive growth and retention.
- Data Insights: Translate complex data into actionable insights, identifying opportunities and maintaining clean data for informed decision-making.
- Data Analytics: Apply analytics techniques, develop data models, and support data-driven decision-making across teams.

- A background in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Finance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools, including statistical analysis, data visualization, and data mining.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data querying and manipulation.
- Experience with data preprocessing, cleaning, and transformation.
- Programing skills in one or more of the following languages: Python, R, SQL.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in presenting complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning concepts and experience with related tools and libraries.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
- Experience with A/B testing and experimental design.
- Understanding of advanced topics like predictive modeling, segmentation, and clustering.
