Job Summary

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for HSQA company-facing PowerBI Data. This includes building case studies that illustrate trends and analyze our multi-systems data; generating reports and insights for our sectors; and onboarding new projects onto our platforms. You will be responsible for applying various methodologies to gather, measure, analyze, and report PowerBI Trends.

 

Data Analysis & Reporting
•    Build data-driven narratives and case studies to help our HSQA metrics across all sectors via PowerBI
•    Pull data and ad-hoc service reports for the Risk Department as well as for our leadership team
•    Onboard new initiatives and projects and provide business training to help them maximize the value they get out of our platforms
•    Developing strategies and plans for data management and systems and ensuring their effective implementation.
•    Collect, clean, and analyze safety and compliance data, including audits and incidents.
•    Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to track performance and highlight risks.
•    Developing and building reporting solutions and automating processes to support data-driven decision-making.
•    Integrate data insights into safety protocols and improvement strategies.
•    Support budget tracking, invoicing, and financial processes for safety programs.

 

Qualifications

•    4+ years of relevant work experience or combination of education and experience
•    Passion for analyzing and exploring data
•    Experience using data visualization software such as Power BI 
•    Experience developing and maintaining databases, data systems
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•    Analytical mind-set
•    Ability to set priorities, manage multiple tasks and meet frequent deadlines
•    Strong business acumen & professionalism
•    Excellent computer skills and experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet
•    Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
•    Experience in food safety, OH&S, or quality assurance is an asset
