Job Summary
The Director, Compass Account Management leads the development and execution of strategies that drive program compliance, client satisfaction, execution and sustainable financial growth for new and existing business across assigned Compass Sectors. The Director Compass Account Management serves as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and sector leadership, ensuring alignment with company goals and operational excellence.

- Lead the Compass Account Management team to drive compliance with the Foodbuy support teams and operations to ensure thorough and smooth implementation and integration of all new Foodbuy programs.
- Increase financial performance for assigned Compass Sectors by liaising with Category Development, Distribution, and Operations as appropriate.
- Develop and implement an ongoing engagement plan that brings value to the sector relationship and provides insight into sector goals and priorities.
- In partnership with Category Development, lead the execution of strategic sourcing initiatives, ensuring alignment with sector goals.
- Develop appropriate metrics to evaluate program effectiveness.
- Govern strategic initiatives with a focus on continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
- Inspire and develop a high performing team through mentorship, coaching and succession planning.
Think you have what it takes to be our Director, Compass Account Management? We’re committed to hiring the best talent for the role. Here’s how we’ll know you’ll be successful in the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related studies.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional leadership experience in account management, business development, or strategic partnerships within a service-oriented industry.
- Proven track record of influencing and collaborating with C-suite or senior executives.
- Demonstrated strategic and commercial thinking, in-depth financial analysis, and ability to execute initiatives.
- Demonstrated strength in planning and organization, goal achievement, urgency & self-starting capabilities.
- Experience in financial modeling, P & L ownership and commercial strategy.
- Strong PC skills with an emphasis on MS Office including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire, influence and lead cross-functional teams.
