Job Summary

Location: RBC Bank, Montreal
Schedule: Monday to Friday

We are seeking an Executive Chef with a background in fine dining to lead a high-end kitchen serving an exclusive clientele. A passionate creator with a keen eye for product quality, flavor, and detail.

Duties and Responsibilities

Creation & Gastronomy

  • Imagine, design, and execute creative, seasonal gourmet menus.
  • Research, select, and showcase high-quality products from preselected producers and suppliers.
  • Develop a creative, elegant, and cohesive cuisine focused on taste, precision, and emotion.

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Recruit, train, and support the professional development of a high-performing, engaged kitchen brigade.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, discipline, and attention to detail.

Management & Performance | Client Experience

  • Lead culinary operations with a strategic vision focused on quality, cost control, productivity, and sustainability.
  • Manage budgets and inventories; monitor costs and performance indicators.
  • Deliver a consistent, seamless, and memorable gastronomic experience.
  • Work closely with the service team to meet client expectations and requests.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in fine dining or high-end establishments.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as an Executive Chef in a gastronomic establishment.
  • Ability to creatively integrate culinary trends and modern presentation into daily operations.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rigor, precision, and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with administrative tasks.
