Job Summary
The Field Implementation Manager develops action plans to implement Foodbuy programs and processes that help assigned sectors purchase the products they need to run their business. This will include analyzing the sectors’ business needs and product requirements, implementing commercial changes, reviewing financial results, compliance management, managing and improving processes and more.
Now, if you were to come on board as our Field Implementation Manager, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Develop a strong understanding of the commercial and operational needs of the business
- Understand and utilize applicable change management practices
- Understand and apply financial data to support business strategy and requirements
- Create and develop project and action plans to source appropriate products to satisfy business needs
- Influence and enforce compliance to Foodbuy programs thereby avoiding spend leakage on non-approved products/suppliers/services
- Support and enforce safe supply chain ideology
- Work with the sectors, analysts, and other internal stakeholders to proactively manage day-to-day processes and develop strategies for improvement
- Proactively connect and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Steward commercial process to drive compliance and accountability
- Identify process and commercial revenue and/or improvement opportunities to positively impact the business P&L
- Resolve issues and opportunities that have been escalated
- Facilitate and/or coordinate applicable process training
Think you have what it takes to be our Field Implementation Manager? We’re committed to hiring the best talent for the role. Here’s how we’ll know you will be successful:
- Post-secondary education, degree or diploma, in a business-related field
- Supply Chain designation or equivalent preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced proficiency in Excel
- 3 years’ experience in operations required; 2 years supply chain/procurement experience preferred
- Demonstrated customer service and relationship building skills
- Strong project and change management experience
- Analytical and logical thinking ability as well as proven time management skills
- Ability to effectively engage with both internal and external stakeholders at various levels of the organization
- Confidence to present at multiple levels of the organization to communicate Foodbuy’s strategy
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual in English and French is a requirement
