Job Summary

Unidine Canada seeks a dynamic Director of Hospitality to lead exceptional hospitality, elevate culinary programs, and drive resident and client satisfaction. This role is pivotal in shaping service culture within senior living communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead hospitality excellence and community performance.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, culinary, operations, and support teams.
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, coaching, and team development.
  • Ensure execution of Unidine’s standards and brand experience.
  • Support EVS, housekeeping, and facility services.
  • Maintain reports, analyze performance trends, and identify opportunities.
  • Drive retail growth, merchandising standards, and resident engagement.
  • Manage food safety plans and compliance.

What It Takes:

  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask with attention to detail.
  • Creative problem solving, influencing, emotional intelligence.
  • Financial acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Ability to work independently and lead diverse teams.

Education & Experience:

  • 3+ years food service leadership (fine dining, catering, restaurants, resorts).
  • Senior Living experience an asset.
  • Strength in teaching, coaching, and enforcing SOPs.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s preferred (Hospitality, Business, Culinary, Marketing).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Work Environment:

  • Some lifting over 25 lbs; active use of safety PPE.
