Job Summary
Location: St John's, NL
The Senior Accountant will liaise with operations and external suppliers on a daily basis and deliver results according to deadlines. They will be a motivated and results oriented individual.
Now, if you were to come on board as our Senior Accountant,, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Responsible for administration, accounting and reporting for assigned fixed asset
- Analysis and reconciliation of assigned fixed asset accounts
- Responsible for ensuring all approvals are in accordance with Compass Group requirement
- Responsible for Dell leases (administration, analysis)
- Complete analysis and queries as required by operations
- Review Construction invoices to ensure all required documents and approvals are received.
- Ability to handle tight time schedule
- Involved in other duties and special projects as assigned

- Currently enrolled in accounting designation program
- Accounting Degree or Diploma required
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a computerized accounting environment
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with a positive, can-do attitude
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Detail oriented and willingness to learn
- Able to work overtime when required
