Job Summary
In accordance with provincial legislation and our commitment to transparent hiring practices, the compensation range for this position is provided. Final compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity. Canadian work experience is not required. Pay range is $40,200 to $55,000.
Now, if you were to come on board as our Environmental Sustainability and Nutrition Systems Coordinator, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Lead sustainability and wellness initiatives
- Develop meaningful partnerships and deliver expertise with business leaders and other unit-based stakeholders to build trust and collaboration and gain credibility
- Collaborate on the development of detailed sustainability plans.
- Provide tactical solutions to units as needed: Deliver strategic direction on program
- Act as conduit between CGC corporate sustainability and wellness strategy
- Identify trends and innovations, collect and synthesize information.
- Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian to ensure menu data entry and recipe management align with sustainability goals and nutritional standards.
- Perform extensive data entry and system updates within the dietary software
- Collaborate with production managers and executive chefs
- Connect with production managers and/or unit managers regularly
- Manage and troubleshoot the production module of the dietary software

- 1-2 years working experience in related field of Sustainability and Wellness or Software/Database Management
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and gain consensus towards a common goal
- Demonstrated project management competencies, including adhering to project budget and timelines, business alignment, planning, objectives, scope, priorities, opportunity and risk assessment
- Ability to multi-task and manage numerous projects simultaneously
- Ability to determine priorities, manage risk and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to lead, execute and support sustainability-related awareness campaigns.
- Ability to work cooperatively and directly with senior leadership
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively in team settings
- Positive attitude, with an optimistic and enthusiastic outlook
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required
- Strong computer skills, with the ability to quickly learn and navigate various software applications and databases.
- Experience with dietary software (e.g. CBORD) is considered a strong asset
- Degree or diploma in Foodservice Management, Business Sustainability, Communications, Environmental Management, or related field considered and asset.
