Job Summary
We are looking for a visionary AI Strategist to join our team at Compass Data & AI. This is a high-impact role designed for a strategic thinker who can drive transformative AI initiatives with executive-level stakeholders. You will shape AI strategies that solve complex business challenges, deliver measurable ROI, and scale across enterprise environments. Acting as the strategic lead on our most critical AI programs, you’ll work closely with C-suite leaders, business executives, and technical teams to align AI capabilities with organizational goals. This role requires a rare combination of business acumen, technical fluency, and executive presence — ideal for someone who can influence at the highest levels while steering delivery toward meaningful outcomes.
Now, if you were to come on board as our AI Strategist, we’d ask you to do the following:
· Lead the definition, communication, and execution of AI strategies that drive clear business value
· Advise senior executives and stakeholders on the impact, risks, and ROI of AI initiatives
· Translate ambiguous business goals into actionable AI programs with clear KPIs
· Partner with delivery teams to ensure alignment between strategic goals and execution
· Guide opportunity discovery, prioritization, and roadmap creation for AI solutions
· Support change management and stakeholder alignment across enterprise functions
· Evaluate new AI technologies and approaches for strategic fit and scalability
· Serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader within the organization and with clients
· Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring program integrity and long-term value creation
· Represent Compass Data & AI in strategic forums, presentations, and executive briefings
Think you have what it takes to be our AI Strategist? Here’s how we’ll know:
· 7+ years of experience in strategy consulting, AI/technology leadership, or enterprise transformation
· Strong understanding of AI and data technologies, with ability to assess their business impact (LLMs, ML models, cloud platforms, etc.)
· Track record of delivering complex, high-stakes initiatives in large or regulated environments
· Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills at the executive level
· Deep experience in translating strategic business needs into technical initiatives
· Strong grasp of value creation, cost-benefit analysis, and metrics-driven decision-making
· Comfortable leading cross-functional teams and navigating enterprise complexity
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
· Self-starter, fast learner, and natural influencer with strong executive presence
