Job Summary

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is responsible for the supervision of all hourly concierge associates within the unit.

SUMMARY

The Concierge Supervisor is responsible for overseeing effectiveness of guest services within the conference center and premium dining floors. Assists with the support of catering and event operations as needed. The Concierge Manager must demonstrate the ability to apply common sense and understanding to a variety of situations. Must demonstrate a willingness and capacity to follow safe and healthful work practices. Observes safety and security procedures; reports all potentially unsafe conditions.

Now, if you were to come on board as one of our  Concierge Supervisor, we’d ask you to do the following for us:

· Acts as Manager for hourly associates and ensures the concierge team delivers flawless service at every event, including the control of alcohol and security.

· Coordinates service based on each clients’ individual needs, according to each event BEO.

· Demonstrates the ability to think creatively and problem solve, based on the needs of the event.

· Works with the client team and onsite booking system to coordinate movement and bookings throughout the conference center and premium dining floors.

· Works with the Event Experience Team to ensure all needs are addressed on the conference floors and premium dining floor.

· Works cohesively in collaboration with all planning teams to ensure a smooth transition and client focused experience for all guests.

· Uses provided systems for booking and following up with clients at the end of the event.

· Leads weekly meetings for the concierge team.

· Anticipates, identifies, communicates, and seeks solutions for operational challenges.

· Uses a “personal touch” in all email correspondence with client, before, during and after events.

· Develops, monitors, and administers concierge training cycles including onboarding for new associates, all programs, modules, workflow processes, and compliance.

· Schedules shifts for hourly associates, based on business needs, and posts as per collective agreement requirements or job standards.

· Verify all team members are always wearing proper uniform, including name tag and footwear.

· Supports the Event Experience team as required.

· Concierge Manager will also be responsible for payroll administration, including ensuring accurate and timely processing of hourly employees' payroll and vacation pay.

· Concierge Manager will be tasked with assigning floor-specific duties such as managing reception areas, arranging buffet labels, dietary labels, VMS QR codes, and ensuring proper distribution of name badges. These tasks are integral to maintaining the seamless operation and guest satisfaction within the conference center and premium dining floors.
