Job Summary
If you were to come on board as a Hospitality Manager, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Lead, inspire, and motivate a team to deliver anticipative, engaging service across all office and hospitality functions.
- Manage all HR functions, including associate development plans, performance reviews, payroll, and staffing needs.
- Recruit, hire, train, and schedule team members to ensure adequate coverage and high service standards.
- Conduct daily team reviews and coordinate day-ahead activities to ensure timely and accurate task completion.
- Foster a positive, service-driven work environment that prioritizes hospitality and client satisfaction.
- Oversee daily administrative tasks, time-off requests, and schedule management for smooth departmental operations.
- Collaborate with facilities, technology, and key internal stakeholders to ensure flawless in-office experience.
- Manage external vendors, including catering suppliers and maintenance providers, ensuring quality and service excellence.
- Collaborate in menu planning, food preparation oversight, costing, budgeting, and inventory management for in-office food service operations.
- Promote a culture of safety and compliance by adhering to Compass’ Quality Assurance, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and WHMIS regulations.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections and ensure WHMIS training for all staff.
- Support and implement security, fire, health, and safety protocols as required.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal clients, ensuring satisfaction with all services and menu offerings.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors to ensure timely maintenance, system support, and consistent service delivery.
- Oversee catering and event coordination for both internal and external meetings, ensuring premium quality and client satisfaction.

- Degree or working experience in a luxury hospitality environment is considered a strong asset – corporate, restaurant or hotels. Preference given to those with events/catering experience
- At least 3 years in a supervisory or management role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong relationship building, analytical and adaptability skills
- Strong technical skills and ability to learn and operate internal and external systems.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet frequent deadlines.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint etc.)
- Resourceful learner with an improvement mindset and strong problem-solving abilities
