Chef's Hall

This role is for a creator, connector, and closer.

 

Chef’s Hall is a high-energy, multi-vendor food hall where food, bars, and community collide. We’re looking for a Marketing & Experiences Leader who knows how to turn buzz into bookings, ideas into revenue, and group events into must-attend experiences.

 

Reporting directly to the General Manager and working closely with the Chef’s Hall leadership and sales team, this role owns the strategy and execution behind marketing initiatives and large-scale group event executions— from corporate buyouts and celebrations to brand activations and community moments.

 

In accordance with provincial legislation and our commitment to transparent hiring practices, the compensation range for this position is provided. Final compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity. Canadian work experience is not required. Pay range is $65,000 to $75,000.

Job Summary

Now, if you were to come on board as our Marketing & Guest Experience Leader at Chef’s Hall, we’d ask you to do the following for us:

  • Lead Marketing Strategy (and Make It Fun)
    • Work hand-in-hand with external marketing agencies to execute campaigns that actually perform
    • Bring creative ideas to the table to drive traffic during slower periods and maximize peak times
    • Lead promotional calendars tied to food, beverage, seasons, and cultural moments
    • Ensure brand voice, visuals, and messaging feel bold, current, and unmistakably Chef’s Hall
  • Be the Connector
    • Collaborate daily with the GM and Chef’s Hall management team to align marketing with operations
    • Partner with vendors and bar leadership to spotlight offerings and create promotional moments
    • Work cross-functionally with Compass Group partners as needed (Marketing, Sales)
  • Own the Guest Journey for Groups
    • Ensure group events feel elevated, organized, and effortless for guests
    • Coordinate event logistics with operations, bar, and vendors
    • Be present on key event days to ensure execution matches the promise
    • Collect feedback and continuously refine offerings
  • Measure, Adjust, Repeat
    • Track campaign performance, event revenue, and conversion rates
    • Use data to refine strategy without killing creativity
    • Identify new revenue opportunities and promotional angles

  • Comfortable creating and promoting experiences — not just spaces
  • Creative, proactive, and obsessed with bringing people together
  • Confident working with agencies, stakeholders, and operators
  • Organized enough to manage details, flexible enough to adapt on the fly
  • Energized by nightlife, food culture, and live environments
  • 3–5 years in marketing, events, hospitality sales, or brand partnerships
  • Experience driving group bookings, corporate events, or activations
  • Familiarity with social media marketing, digital campaigns, and promotions
  • Background in hospitality, food & beverage, or lifestyle brands strongly preferred
  • Experience working within a larger organization or with external agencies is an asset
