Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. availability, with flexible hours based on business needs.

Job Summary
The salary for this position is $48,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. Further details regarding our total rewards program will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role. Reporting to the onsite Compass lead and in collaboration with the onsite Location Lead, the Reception & Guest Experience Coordinator will be responsible for creating a warm, welcoming, and engaging work environment for the employees, executives, and visiting clients of a leading consulting and technology company located in downtown Toronto ON.
If you were to come on board as our Reception & Guest Experience Coordinator, we’d ask you to do the following for us:
- Provide engaging and anticipative service to all office visitors, with a primary focus on the welcome experience.
- Coordinate space reservations and guest registrations from the main reception desk.
- Work closely with facilities, local technology teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure a flawless in office experience.
- Register and check in clients and visitors as required using internal systems.
- Coordinate with external vendors and catering suppliers as required, ensuring the highest level of satisfaction for in office meetings and events.
- Assist with planning and communicating office meetings and community events a required.
- Support activities for security, fire, health, and safety guidelines as required.
- Conduct opening and closing duties.
- Assist with mail and courier duties as required.
- Share information about the office, building, surrounding areas, transportation, local restaurants, and other points of interest.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Degree or working experience in a luxury hospitality environment is considered a strong asset – corporate, restaurant or hotels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Strong analytical and adaptability skills
- Strong technical skills and ability to learn and operate internal and external systems.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet frequent deadlines.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint etc.) preferred.
- Smart serve certified or willingness to become smart serve certified.
- Resourceful learner with an improvement mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
