Job Summary

Now, if you were to come on board as a Regional Director of Operations, we’d ask you to do the following for us:

 

  • Cultivate high-impact client partnerships, lead strategic business reviews, and develop retention strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Drive sustainable revenue and profitability growth through data-driven forecasting, operational innovation, and proactive budget management.
  • Establish and communicate a clear strategic vision, ensuring teams are equipped with resources and standards to consistently exceed expectations.
  • Lead the design and execution of new business strategies, collaborating cross-functionally to accelerate transformation and competitive advantage.
  • Develop and implement talent strategies to attract, inspire, and retain top performers, building a culture of continuous growth and succession.
  • Champion labour relations strategy, providing strategic guidance for unionized environments and leading negotiations with a focus on long-term partnership.
  • Empower multi-unit management teams, setting ambitious financial and operational targets and supporting their achievement through strategic leadership.

 

Think you have what it takes to be our Regional Director of Operations? We’re committed to hiring the best talent for the role. Here’s how we’ll know you will be successful:

 

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma required; MBA or equivalent as asset.
  • Minimum 8 years of executive leadership experience in healthcare and/or contract management, with a proven record of strategic impact.
  • Comprehensive understanding of acute care support services and their strategic role within the healthcare system.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-site operations in both unionized and non-unionized environments.
  • Exceptional financial acumen and experience managing large, diversified business portfolios.
  • Inspirational mentor and strategic relationship builder, skilled at influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Decisive, forward-thinking communicator with outstanding written and verbal skills.
  • Readiness to travel and engage and support teams and clients across the region.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and experience with financial systems and UKG.
