Job Summary

 

Now, if you were to come on board as our Senior Hospitality Director, we’d ask you to do the following for us:

 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all clients, guests, Compass upper management, and key stakeholders, fostering trust and alignment.
  • Accountable for the development of talent within the business, driving performance excellence and a positive workplace culture.
  • Oversee and innovate service offerings while managing expenditures, budgets and inventory levels.
  • Coach and mentor Hospitality Directors and greater team to achieve their career aspirations and foster long-term professional growth.
  • Accountable for operational planning, ensuring the maintenance of physical spaces and the seamless management of inventory and resources.
  • Accountable for building and maintaining strong vendor relationships, leveraging Compass-approved vendors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Accountable for the financial success of operations through strategic planning, budget management, and identifying opportunities to optimize revenue.
  • Accountable for the compliance with Health & Safety standards and foster programs that promote associate well-being and operational excellence.
  • Provide comprehensive reporting on budgets, annual targets, and strategic initiatives to identify trends and areas for improvement.


Think you have what it takes to be our Senior Hospitality Director? We’re committed to hiring the best talent for the role. Here’s how we’ll know you are the best fit:

 

  • At least five years of senior-level experience in hospitality or food service management, including multi-unit oversight.
  • Advanced certifications such as ProServe, Food Safe, or Basic First Aid; additional certifications in hospitality or business management are preferred.
  • Proven expertise in managing financials in a service setting
  • Ability to innovate and elevate service offerings through current and future trends.
  • Proven track record as a strong leader with the ability to lead, and develop talent across all levels.
  • Exceptional client and guest relationship skills with a proven track record of success.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Culinary skills or expertise in menu development and innovation would be an asset
