Job Summary

How you will make an impact:
The Catering Coordinator is responsible for selling, booking, entering information into the event scheduling database (Event Pro), coordinating, monitoring, tracking, executing, closing, and invoicing of all banquets & catering events held at APC for Park Hospitality. This position is responsible to follow up with potential and current clients in order to achieve the sales targets by venue. The Catering Coordinator will ensure all events are executed to meet the clients’ needs. The Catering Coordinator must communicate and ensure compliance with APC and Park Hospitality venue usage policies.
As a Catering Admin Coordinator, you will:
- Must demonstrate a professional level of interpersonal and communication skills including written and oral communication skills.
- This position requires attention to detail and the ability to organize workflow, establish priorities and maintain confidentiality with a high degree of accuracy.
- A thorough knowledge of all facilities and greenspaces is necessary in order to provide accurate pricing and information.
- Must be flexible, with the ability to problem solve and adapt to changes quickly, operate within time sensitive deadlines, and handle multiple client demands with a high degree of professionalism.
- Must be able to work flexible hours as required in order to coordinate and execute events, including evenings and weekends.
About you:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in banquet & catering coordination/sales.
- Excellent proficiency with computer programs including Microsoft Office software, and event booking software used by the organization.
Asset:
- Certificate in Event Management/Planning or Marketing
