The Field Implementation Manager is responsible for collecting and organizing data related to multiple suppliers and products in support of the Field Implementation Teams and Compass at Google. This person will provide the financial reporting necessary and extract key elements and intelligence for the Field Implementation Managers to make decisions about various category reviews. It is critical this person put data together to create a comprehensive picture of the financial and operational impact of potential decisions. The Field Implementation Manager will work collaboratively between multiple departments including: Finance, Category Development, Sourcing, and Sustainability.


  • Function as resource specialist for Vice Presidents, Directors and Managers of the Business Implementation team as well as the key customer – Compass at Google
  • Develop and initiate action plans to improve customer compliance to  purchasing programs and support conversion initiatives
  • Act as a support mechanism between Category Development Managers, Sourcing, and Managers of the Business Implementation team
  • Support and lead action plans to achieve sector purchasing initiatives
  • Conduct regular business reviews with client stakeholders
  • Undertake detailed analytical work and spend data analysis to uncover and identify potential opportunities
  • Complete ownership, accountability and understanding specific to client’s model; fully understand customer’s needs, financial objectives, and food philosophy as to best tailor and align potential opportunities
  • Continually strive to seek out opportunities to improve the overall profitability and success of the business by leveraging market, customer, and financial expertise
  • Develop, initiate, and manage project plans to achieve purchasing initiatives in the agreed timescales
  • Create and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual reports within the procurement software
  • Complete analytics for all categories and provide the data and insights to the various Field Implementation Managers
  • Become proficient with all procurement reporting software (e.g. MyFi, CrunchTime, MyOrders)


  • Bachelor’s Degree with 3 - 5 years’ experience; or, equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in the food and beverage industry would be an advantage
  • Experience of broader aspects of supply chain, as well as providing evidence of a broader business perspective such as balancing cost, value, risk & opportunity.
  • Experience utilizing multiple reporting platforms including: Google Suite and MS Office products.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple project tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet goals and deadlines
  • Stakeholder engagement - Outline potential financial and strategic benefits and opportunities identified within procurement categories.
  • Outstanding presentation skills and selling skills to sell in key programs.
  • Ability to travel 10% to 20% annually
  • Be an expert with analytical tools (e.g. Excel) in order to draw conclusions and make recommendations from large data sets.
