Date of Internship: 10-12 weeks; 35 - 40 hour work week (Monday – Friday)

Location: Charlotte, NC

The intern position, reporting into Strategic Projects, offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure leading impactful enterprise wide business initiatives in a Fortune 500 company. Projects include business mergers, pricing strategies, enterprise wide process change, large-scale solution delivery, and operational support to strategic accounts. Each project is carefully selected to achieve a significant return for the company and adds value to the growth of the Compass Group.

What you'll do

Our competitive, 12-week, paid MBA/Master's level internship is an amazing opportunity to develop as a leader while sharpening your management and analytical skills. The goal of our MBA/Master's level program is to engage and prepare high potential talent for strategic project leadership within our organization. The projects that you drive during the summer will challenge you, while strategically affecting change across our organization. You will also have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of our company and team cultures through programming including a capstone project, exposure to multiple facets of the organization, training and more!

We're looking for goal-oriented individuals who thrive in a fast-paced team environment and are eager to apply their problem-solving skills to real business challenges.  


Skills & Qualifications

• Previous work experience in a corporate, fast-paced environment

• Pursuing a Master's level degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, or related disciplines

• Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset

• Basic Project Management skills

• Effective written and verbal communication skills within a business context

• Ability to think and work independently and collaboratively with a high degree of professionalism

• Experience gathering, analyzing, and reporting on complex data  


*Relocation assistance is not available. The selected candidate will be responsible for relocation and housing costs (if necessary).
