Job Summary

The Account Service Manager is responsible for products and services provided by Canteen to our client's office.  This position supports one national account, a technology company, with offices in Fremont.  Working with multiiple managers to support the overall account, the Account Service Manager had direct responsibility for Route Driver Supervision and Client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage route supervisors/drivers and troubleshoots issues encountered in the field
  • Responsible for overall job performance by drivers, training, development, coaching and counseling, annual performance reviews
  • Strategically plan for successful routes, create efficiency, adjust schedules as needed
  • Audit trucks occasionally before team arrives, as well as orders on truck and staged orders
  • Weekly visits to each location that falls under the Account Service Manager's supervision to inspect quality of drivers work to ensure meets clients expectations
  • Work cooperatively with their assigned Manager and office team
  • Communicate with office and other managers daily and onsite contacts when needed
  • Purchase products shorted or zeroed out when necessary

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • A Bachelor’s degree or 4 year of management experience.
  • Experience managing a team
  • Food service industry experience helpful
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Must be able to travel to client sites locally - company vehicle provided
  • Must be passionate about providing world class service to our clients and customers.
  • Coffee / refreshment industry experience preferred.
