Job Summary


The Concierge is responsible for establishing a warm, welcoming and professional atmosphere for all clients, executives and staff members of the client corporation.  The Concierge is the first point of contact for visitors to the location, making them feel comfortable, accurately directing them to their destinations and assisting them during their stay.


  • Assist customers with conference room reservations utilizing Book A Space tool.
  • Assign and update building guest access Key fobs to Verizon employees and visitors.
  • Use Building Engines software to assist with Operations request.  
  • Quality Audit Inspections of all public space, including but not limited to, the following:
  • All exit signs are clearly laminated
  • All carpet/flooring/chairs are free from stains or spills.
  • A wet floor sign is visible when needed.
  • All walls are clean.
  • Ensure that all white boards are cleaned between each reservation.
  • Ensure all e-mails and voice mails have been checked and promptly responded to throughout the work day.
  • Maintain client and customer communications while practicing Platinum Service® Standards.
  • Copy room management
    • Restock paper products in copy rooms daily
    • Maintain inventory for copy room supplies
  • Properly greet and handle visitors to the company, with a smile and maintaining eye contact throughout the entire interaction.  Follow established procedures with regard to both expected and unexpected arrivals, coordinating with in-house security as appropriate. 
  • Answer telephones in a friendly, professional manner, taking messages with accuracy.  Always put a smile in one’s voice and enhance personalization by using names.
  • Provide onsite and off-site directional assistance to customers
    • Area attractions, restaurants, places to stay, etc.
  • Concierge Services Site Guide
    • Ensure all information is current
  • Uphold professional appearance at all times.
    • Neat, clean, pressed clothing
  • Maintain attractive, neat appearance of Concierge area
  • Administrative and reporting as needed/requested
  • Assist associates with scheduling meetings at other Verizon facilities

Audio Visual and Site Responsibilities

  • Set up of all audio visual equipment within conference rooms
  • Troubleshoot a wide variety of AV issues with components and situations, both for guests and for associates.
  • Audio Visual assistance including
    • Computer connectivity involving guest wi-fi
    • Power Point presentations display
    • Teleconference and Video Conferencing
  • Prepares equipment for Video Conferences and Telepresence meetings
  • Provide basic instruction on equipment function and steps on presenting in conference  rooms when requested
  • Submit WOW – work order tickets for all issues in conference rooms and large event areas, often involving AV equipment
  • Ensure sustainability – powering down all equipment not in use and turning off lights in conference rooms when not in use and at the conclusion of the day to conserve energy.
