Job Summary

This WORKPLACE EXPERIENCE PROJECT MANAGER, reporting into Compass Group National Accounts with additional support from the Strategic Projects Group, offers a unique opportunity to manage impactful projects.  This role will be client facing and will continuously work with the client to define project goals and scope, anticipate client needs, and serve as single point of contact for analytics and project management across client portfolio of facilities.  A successful candidate will be tasked with owning complete life cycle of projects; driving necessary change throughout. The Innovation Project Manager will coordinate activities across multiple sectors, working with a single high profile, publicly traded healthcare company based in the Northeast.



  • Creative/Strategic resource dedicated to client portfolio. Responsible for leading innovation across all Compass sectors, with a focus on transforming workplace experience for Client’s employee base.
  • Responsible for sourcing, development and implementation of industry leading innovations and strategic initiatives within Client’s business.  This includes Nation-wide Food and Conferencing services, AV as well as non-operational services for our client. 
  • Engage and collaborate with Client leads to drive workforce engagement for existing and new real estate to ensure Compass strategy and implementation is aligned with Client goals
  • Synthesize and utilize all available data to inform decision making and project development processes
  • Drive internal and external reporting, KPI tracking, meeting cadence, and updates
  • Regular reporting to both Compass stakeholders and Client leadership
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Work with client and internal stakeholders to assess opportunities to invest in client portfolio sites with goal of maximizing colleague engagement at sites across client footprint
  • Build and manage (directly and indirectly) teams to meet the resource needs required of each project
  • Create and execute end-to-end project plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Proactively communicate project details across multiple departments in a clear and concise manner
  • Coordinate project activities between team members, while maximizing their productivity to achieve project goals
  • Identify, assess and minimize risks throughout the project life cycle
  • Create and maintain all project documentation pertinent to the project, including but not limited to, status reports, work plans, presentations
  • Understand team dynamics and adapt project management methodology as needed to ensure project success
  • Assessing viability of a project
  • Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Three or more years in Project Management role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, as well as Web-based Applications
  • Six Sigma / Lean Certification is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Critical thinking skills to determine how best to deal with complex issues
  • Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Travel up to 50% of the time
