Job Summary

This independent contributor is responsible for creating and maintaining a strategic competitive advantage for SSC Services for Education across all business lines. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing unique value propositions for the brand and ensuring we remain strategically focused on supporting growth externally as well as internally through sector partner and operational relationships. This individual will provide strategic direction and focus on success in key areas of innovation, technology, digital strategy and consumer engagement.



* Brand strategy development, vision and execution for SSC Services for Education

* Engagement with senior operating and corporate leadership for comprehensive support strategy

* Annual marketing plan development, tactics and resourcing necessary to achieve goals

* Annual budget development, management and timeline creation

* Oversight of design, development, new concept implementation, promotional and branding elements

* Understand competitive landscape and value proposition identification

* Analyze market impact of core programs and promotions, track effectiveness and ROI

* Understands and leads new business marketing strategy, response and gap analysis

* Works collaboratively with sales leadership to ensure value propositions are communicated effectively and consistently

* Support national strategic sales presentations and proposals

* Establish and maintain key client relationships (internal and external) as well as industry and strategic partner relationships

* Market analysis and trend identification for outsourced services in education

* Strategic oversight of digital strategy inclusive of lead generation, advertising, brand awareness, promotional programing, recruitment and associate retention

* Present compelling SSC Services for Education value proposition to internal and external audiences reflecting market leadership, innovation, technology and initiatives

* Ability to manage multiple tactical projects


* Self-motivated, strategic thinker with strong creative skills

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs required including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

* Undergraduate degree required

* Travel required – estimated average of 20%

* Excellent communication skills – oral, written, presentation and influencing
