DIRECTOR OF DINING SERVICES

Job Summary

Working as the Director of Dining Services you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day Foodservice operations. You will manage and lead a team of employees and you will be responsible for managing client relationships, profitability of the account, and talent development.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in all phases of planning, budget analysis, and reporting relating to the operation, control account expenditures and obtain maximum utilization of account resources
  • Oversees all budgeting as it pertains to the account
  • Develop and maintain outstanding client relations
  • Works with the Chef and management team in creating nutritious and top quality food for the students
  • Responsibility for ensuring proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of proper serving temperatures and HACCP standards
  • Implements new culinary programs in conjunction with the Company marketing and culinary teams
  • Acts as a liaison between the Company, Client, and the community

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS Hospitality degree preferred
  • Three to five years of foodservice management experience required
  • We seek a team player with a perfect blend of culinary and administrative expertise.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Financial and business acumen
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
