Salary: $55,000 to $60,000

Job Summary
As a Restaurant General Manager, you will assist in the day-to-day food service operation. The position entails ensuring the standards of excellence are met, supervises staff, and supports leadership with financial responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages all functional areas of the restaurant.
- Trains, manages, and develops hourly associates.
- Assisting in the interviewing and hiring of frontline staff.
- Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with the company culinary and marketing team.
- Oversees ordering, inventory and cost controls.
- Assists with catering and special events.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of food service management experience.
- Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
- Experience managing cost controls is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
- ServSafe Certification is preferred.
- Associate’s degree is preferred.
