Job Summary
Lead the future of hospitality at one of the nation’s premier universities. As the Vice President of Hospitality Strategy, you will set the vision for world-class food and beverage experiences across the University of Michigan’s venues and events. This role will drive operational excellence, strategic growth, and innovative guest experiences while aligning teams with Levy’s hospitality culture and performance standards.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field
-
10+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, sports & entertainment, or large-scale food service operations
-
Experience managing multi-unit hospitality or venue operations
-
Financial management experience including P&L oversight and budget planning
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and operational reporting systems
-
Knowledge of food safety regulations and large-scale hospitality compliance standards
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic hospitality initiatives across all venue operations

Lead operational planning for large-scale events, premium hospitality, and campus dining experiences

Direct senior leadership teams across culinary, operations, beverage, and purchasing departments

Oversee financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives

Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and Levy operational standards
-
Drive innovation in menu development, service models, and guest engagement
-
Partner with university stakeholders to deliver best-in-class hospitality experiences

Recruit, mentor, and develop leadership teams across departments
