In-Seat Server - State Farm Arena/Levy Restaurants
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour + tips
Schedule: Seasonal event-based position available only during the Hawks season (April 2025 – April 2026). . Candidates must be available to work evenings, weekends, some holidays, and all Atlanta Hawks home games.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years' experience working in a food service setting. The In-Seat Server provides world class guest service and they have the ability to communicate effectively, problem solve and make decisions with little guidance.
Qualifications
- Stand for long periods of time and be able to actively engage physically with guests.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Conflict resolutions and de-esclation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and work well with others.
- Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods of time throughout the day.
- Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
Job Summary
Summary: The In Seat Server is responsible for supporting our premium service operations during the Hawks season. This position is c responsible for preparing high quality beverages for guests who have courtside tickets. They provide world class guest service, works well under pressure, and thrives with direct guest interation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greets team members and guest in a courteous, friendly manner.
- Takes and/or processes orders for drinks; mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes; practices prudent portion control.
- Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained. Demonstrates knowledge of liquor laws.
- Locks up and stores all beverage product, food, equipment items, deposits and cash drops; secures bank.
- Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards; keeps work area clean and organized.
- Arranges bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area.
- Washes and sterilizes stemware.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
