Job Summary
The Press Box Line Cook is responsible for preparing, executing, and maintaining high-quality food for our daily service in the Press Box area. This role supports the Jr. Sous Chef overseeing the space, follows established culinary standards, and ensures a consistent dining experience for guests every day the building is operating.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read, understand, and execute daily prep lists provided by the Jr. Sous Chef.
- Prepare, cook, and plate menu items for the 11:00 AM–2:00 PM lunch service with accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation throughout prep and service.
- Follow all recipes, portioning standards, and food safety guidelines.
- Assist with receiving, labeling, rotating, and storing product according to FIFO standards.
- Communicate any product shortages, equipment issues, or operational concerns to the Jr. Sous Chef or Executive Chef team.
- Maintain proper sanitation, temperature logs, and daily checklists as required.
- Support occasional weekend events as business demands.
- Uphold Levy and Mercedes-Benz Stadium standards for hospitality, professionalism, and teamwork.
Qualifications:
- Previous line cook experience preferred, ideally in a high-volume or scratch-cooking environment.
- Strong understanding of culinary techniques, food safety, and kitchen organization.
- Ability to work independently and take direction well.
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and commitment to consistent, high-quality food execution.
