Position Title: OPERATIONS MANAGER-AUSTIN, TX 

Salary: $80,000-$90,000/annually

Job Summary

    •  
  • Issue Resolution & Process Optimization
    • Identify operational challenges and implement practical, data-driven solutions
    • Standardize reporting, audit tools, and trackers to improve accuracy and accountability across the region
    • Ensure process alignment and consistency across all units under the account
  • Client and Internal Communication
    • Maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, unit managers, and cross-functional teams
    • Participate in client meetings, walk-throughs, and performance reviews as a representative of regional operations
    • Communicate updates and outcomes clearly to the Vice President and key partners
  • Regional Support & Strategic Initiatives
    • Assist the Vice President of Operations in executing regional priorities, project work, and enterprise-level initiatives
    • Provide operational insights and administrative support on initiatives beyond the immediate 12-site portfolio
    • Coordinate regional reporting, benchmarking, and special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Finance, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in operations or financial support, preferably in foodservice, hospitality, or facilities management
  • Strong technical skills with point-of-sale systems (e.g., Micros, Toast) and enterprise reporting platforms
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis; ability to build and maintain operational dashboards
  • Demonstrated financial acumen with experience in P&L review, labor management, and budget planning
  • Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and support executive-level leaders
Preferred:
  • Experience with regional or multi-site support in a corporate or campus environment
  • Familiarity with client contract management and service level expectations
  • Exposure to project management tools or methodologies

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Operations Manager to support a high-profile account consisting of 12 distinct foodservice locations. This role demands strong financial acumen, technical fluency with point-of-sale and reporting systems, and excellent interpersonal skills to drive performance through influence rather than direct authority. The Operations Manager will also assist the Vice President of Operations with key regional initiatives and enterprise-level projects that impact broader business performance.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Portfolio Oversight
    • Provide operational oversight and support across 12 locations within a single corporate or campus environment
    • Ensure consistent execution of brand, quality, and service standards in alignment with contractual obligations and client expectations
    • Act as a connector across field teams, regional leadership, and shared services to resolve issues and escalate concerns as needed
  • Financial Management
    • Monitor financial performance across the portfolio, with a focus on P&L accuracy, labor control, food cost, and subsidy tracking
    • Conduct detailed variance analysis and prepare financial summaries for leadership and client review
    • Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic savings initiatives under the guidance of the VP of Operations
  • Technology & Reporting Systems
    • Serve as the subject matter expert on POS platforms, order/pay systems, and reporting tools
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; lead or support implementations and upgrades
    • Build and maintain operational reporting tools that drive insight and performance transparency
