Job Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and event guidelines

Set up, operate, and break down bar stations for events of varying size and style
-
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, equipment, and storage areas
-
Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with alcohol service laws
-
Monitor guest behavior and practice responsible alcohol service
-
Process payments accurately using POS systems, following all cash‑handling procedures
-
Restock bar inventory including beverages, garnishes, glassware, and supplies
-
Communicate effectively with event managers, banquet captains, and service staff
-
Provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service to enhance the guest experience
-
Follow health, safety, and sanitation standards required by the location and local regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
-
Previous bartending experience in a convention center, hotel, banquet, or high‑volume environment preferred

Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and general mixology techniques
-
Ability to stand for long periods, and lift and push up to 25–50 lbs as needed

Strong customer service and communication skills
-
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and event‑based schedules
-
Current alcohol service certification (e.g., ServSafe Alcohol, TIPS) preferred
