Beertender - State Farm Arena/Levy Restaurants
Pay Rate: $10.00 per hour + tips.
Schedule: Part time event-based schedule. Must be able to work nights and weekends. Must be able to work all Hawks home games.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have 1 year or more experience in foodservice or hospitality. An outgoing personalitiy is preferred. The candidate should have the ability to interact with high profile guests and remain professional and dedicated to providing exceptional experience.
Qualifications
- Stand for long periods of time and be able to actively engage physically with guests.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations.
- Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods of time throughout the day.
- Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds
Job Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sells food and/or beverage in a mobile capacity.
- Understands menu offerings.
- Adheres to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations, pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
- Greets guests in courteous, friendly manner.
- Checks guest at the bar for proper identification.
- Attempt to limit problems/liability by taking steps such as encouraging customers to stop drinking or take safe methods of transportation from an event.
- Complete Alcohol Incident Log whenever service is denied to a guests.
- Maintains and performs product inventory.
- Adheres to all safety and sanitation policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
