Job Summary

We seeking a strategic, results-driven leader who thrives in dynamic environments and can successfully lead national implementation efforts while elevating operational standards and client satisfaction across education accounts.

 

The Senior Project Manager serves as a strategic implementation leader responsible for driving operational excellence across SSC education accounts nationwide. This highly visible role leads complex start-ups, transitions, and performance improvement initiatives within custodial, grounds, and plant operations and partners closely with operations executives and client stakeholders to ensure seamless program deployment, sustainable operational performance, and strong financial outcomes. The role requires deep facilities expertise, executive presence, and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.


Key Responsibilities:  

  • Lead national account start-ups, transitions, and large-scale operational improvement initiatives
  • Standardize and implement best-in-class programs across custodial, grounds, and maintenance operations
  • Drive adoption of QA programs, CMMS platforms, performance reporting, and Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets with strong fiscal accountability
  • Train and mentor on-site leadership teams to ensure sustainable operational performance
  • Build and maintain strong client partnerships, ensuring alignment with service expectations and strategic goals
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, and innovation
  • Assess and develop a duty list based on unitization metrics to ensure alignment with client requirements and the contractual scope of work.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; advanced degree a plus
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in facilities management, custodial, maintenance, or related operations
  • Proven success leading complex, multi-site projects or operational transformations
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing project budgets
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple large-scale initiatives simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel extensively up to 90%
  • Valid driver’s license
