Concessions Level Supervisor - State Farm Arena/Levy Restaurants

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour. This is not a tipped position. 

Schedule: Part time event-based schedule. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and some holidays. Must be able to work all Hawks home games.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume food and beverage, hospitality, or events setting. The candidate must be able to lead and support a diverse team, including bartenders, cashiers, and stand leads, while maintaing a positve and professional demeanor. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential. The candidate should be organized, guest-focused, and capable of managing multiple stand locations during large scale events. 

 

Essential Job Duties:

  • Completes and follows up on steps of service to ensure utmost guest satisfaction
  • Ensures all food and beverage is properly displayed and maintained throughout the event
  • Establishes rapport with guests and understands suggestive and upselling techniques
  • Conflict resolutions and de-escalation skills.
  • Understands all event paperwork and reports
  • Follows responsible alcohol service polices
  • Employs good safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to build rapport and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
  • Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods of time throughout the day.
  • Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.

Job Summary

Summary: The Concessions Level Supervisor is responsible for directing and responding to guest questions and needs. The Supervisor is responsible for 3-4 stands during the event and the initial set up of products. The supervisor should understand the content of the menu and ensure the timely delivery of food. Strict following of food and safety guidelines are required. The server is responsible for executing area setup and breakdown. The supervisor oversees the breakdown of the event once it is concluded.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establishes rapport with guests and understands suggestive and upselling techniques
  • Follows responsible alcohol service policies
  • Maintains service areas
  • Supervises and completes the open stand sheet and the closing stand sheet
  • Performs post event product inventory and restocks, as needed
  • Manages the operations of multiple concession stands, while assisting team members and maintaining a safe environment throughout operating hours.
  • Greets, directs, and responds to guest’s questions and needs.
  • Understands menu offerings, presentation and pricing.
  • Ensures proper product control and handling of inventory and equipment.
  • Follows food safety/sanitation guidelines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in food and beverage, hospitality, or a high-volume event environment

  • Proven ability to manage and lead teams including bartenders, cashiers, stand leads, and non profit volunteers

  • Strong knowledge of food safety and alcohol service regulations

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and motivate staff

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple locations (stands and bars) imultaneously while maintaining high standards

  • ServSafe and alcohol service certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)

  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift/move up to 25 lbs
