Position Title: EXECUTIVE CHEF-AUSTIN, TX
Salary: $75,000-$85,000/annually

Job Summary
Eurest is seeking an engaged, passionate culinarian to join this busy corporate dining account. As Executive Chef, you'll own the kitchen — from menu planning and food production to team development and operational excellence. You'll set the standard for quality, consistency, and hospitality while creating a safe, energetic, and inspiring environment for your culinary team.
- Plan and execute regular and modified menus in alignment with established culinary guidelines
- Uphold standardized recipes, portioning, and presentation standards; utilize daily production worksheets and waste logs to drive efficiency and minimize waste
- Lead, train, and develop kitchen staff in food preparation, equipment operation, food safety, and sanitation
- Establish and maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules for all kitchen equipment, storage, and work areas
- Manage food and non-food inventory, keeping purchasing within budget while ensuring product availability
- Make informed decisions on leftover food utilization in accordance with company guidelines
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations, including internal audits and third-party inspections
- Champion a culture of safety by following and enforcing all facility and company safety policies
- Actively participate in departmental meetings, staff development initiatives, and professional programs
What We're Looking For
- A.S. in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional experience
- 3–5 years of progressive culinary and kitchen management experience
- Proven hands-on chef experience in high-volume, complex foodservice operations
- Background in institutional and batch cooking; catering experience a strong plus
- Deep knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, food cost control, sanitation, and presentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and general computer navigation
- ServSafe Certification preferred
