Job Summary

Join Wolfgang Puck Catering as a Senior Banquet Manager, where you will play a key role in delivering exceptional event experiences across Crystal Bridges and other Art and Wellness Enterprise venues. In this role, you’ll lead banquet operations end-to-end, partnering closely with culinary, operations, and client teams to ensure every event is executed with consistency, creativity, and elevated service standards.
 
You’ll guide and mentor banquet captains and service teams, fostering a collaborative, polished, and guest-focused environment. This is a highly visible role suited for someone who takes pride in hospitality excellence and creating memorable moments for guests.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and execution of internal and external catering events from concept through completion
  • Partner with clients and internal teams to design customized event experiences, including menu development and service style
  • Oversee day-of-event operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to Wolfgang Puck Catering service standards
  • Manage, coach, and support banquet captains and front-of-house teams, promoting a culture of hospitality and continuous improvement
  • Support hiring, scheduling, and training initiatives to build strong, service-focused teams
  • Monitor and manage labor and food costs, contributing to efficient and profitable operations
  • Coordinate logistics including transportation, equipment, setup, execution, and breakdown of events
  • Assist with contract pricing, menu costing, and sourcing of temporary staff or specialty equipment as needed
  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and company policies across all events

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience managing catering or banquet operations, ideally within upscale or high-volume environments
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, including mentoring banquet captains and service staff
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • A thoughtful, solutions-oriented approach to client service and event execution
  • Financial awareness, including experience with labor and food cost management
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment with evolving priorities
  • Familiarity with event logistics, vendor coordination, and contract support
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Background in catering or event management leadership roles
  • ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
