Job Summary

We’re opening a new, full‑scale restaurant inside WME’s flagship office and are seeking a Sous Chef to play a key leadership role in bringing this culinary vision to life. This is a rare opportunity to support a premium, chef‑driven program in a Monday‑through‑Friday environment with no late nights, while working at the center of a creative, relationship‑focused campus.

As Sous Chef, you’ll partner closely with the Executive Chef to ensure consistent execution across the restaurant, bar menu, coffee and barista program, grab‑and‑go offerings, and pantry services. You’ll be hands‑on in the kitchen, visible to guests and teams, and instrumental in building strong systems, developing talent, and delivering food that reflects Wolfgang Puck’s standards of quality, simplicity, and precision.

This role is well‑suited for a culinary leader who enjoys mentoring others, thrives in a collaborative setting, and takes pride in thoughtful execution and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Executive Chef in leading daily culinary operations across the private restaurant, bar menu, happy‑hour service, coffee program, grab‑and‑go offerings, and campus pantry services
  • Execute menus and culinary programs that reflect Wolfgang Puck Catering standards and align with WME’s workplace culture
  • Lead by example on the kitchen floor, ensuring consistent food quality, presentation, and timing across all service platforms
  • Coach, train, and develop culinary team members, fostering a respectful, inclusive, and organized kitchen environment
  • Assist with menu development, tastings, and rollouts, balancing creativity, seasonality, and operational efficiency
  • Partner with hospitality and operations teams to support service flow, pacing, and overall guest experience
  • Oversee prep, production, and service to ensure freshness, consistency, and attention to detail
  • Support food cost control, ordering, inventory, and waste reduction efforts
  • Help maintain accurate recipes, prep guides, and production standards
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, HACCP, health department, and internal policies
  • Step in to lead service in the Executive Chef’s absence, providing steady direction and clear communication
  • Support VIP activations, happy hours, and special events, adapting production as needed
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and shared ownership

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience supporting or leading culinary teams in restaurant, workplace dining, or hospitality environments
  • A collaborative leadership style that emphasizes clear communication, mentorship, and consistency
  • Strong culinary fundamentals with the ability to execute across multiple service formats
  • Comfort working in a visible, relationship‑driven environment with professionalism and discretion
  • Experience with prep planning, production execution, and service leadership
  • Familiarity with food cost awareness, ordering processes, and inventory practices
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards
  • Ability to follow established systems while contributing ideas and improvements
  • Flexibility, curiosity, and a solutions‑oriented mindset in a new and evolving operation
  • Pride in craftsmanship, teamwork, and delivering a welcoming guest experience
