Job Summary
The Operations Manager supports the Senior Regional Director (SRD) by overseeing departmental operations, including parts, service, and installation teams. This role ensures operational efficiency, safety compliance, and strategic alignment across departments, while providing professional guidance and leadership in facility management and business processes.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight
- Assist in planning, evaluating, and implementing departmental operations
- Provide fiscal oversight and financial reporting to the SRD
- Recommend cost control strategies and identify opportunities to reduce labor and material expenses
- Supervise department staff, including managers and associates
- Support development of short- and long-term goals for departments and branch operations
Strategic Support
- Advise on program administration, strategic planning, and integrated initiatives
- Coordinate cross-departmental activities to ensure alignment and avoid conflicting efforts
- Monitor compliance, process development, and internal controls
- Contribute to policy development and revisions
Facility & Safety Management
- Assist in facility oversight and branch safety programs
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and operational protocols
Leadership & Collaboration
- Serve as a liaison across departments at the discretion of the SRD
- Participate in committees and user groups as needed
- Stay current with industry developments and engage in professional training
Preferred Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5–10 years of progressive operations management experience
- Proven success in cost containment within large, complex organizations
Skills & Abilities
- Strong strategic thinking and planning capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High customer service orientation
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Adaptability in fast-paced, changing environments
- Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and accountability
