Job Summary

Ignite your culinary creativity and elevate dining experiences! As a Senior Sous Chef, you will oversee kitchen operations, support the Executive Chef in menu execution, and ensure excellence in food quality and presentation. You will lead culinary teams with precision and passion, drive consistency in recipes and safety standards, and help deliver unforgettable dining experiences.

Qualifications

  • Culinary degree is preferred

  • 3+ years culinary leadership experience
  • Proficiency in food safety and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations

  • Experience managing food costs, inventory, and kitchen staff

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise culinary staff during daily operations and events

  • Execute menus to meet Levy standards for quality, consistency, and presentation

  • Manage food and labor costs within budgetary goals

  • Train, mentor, and develop Sous Chefs and line staff

  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation guidelines

  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu innovation and seasonal offerings

  • Maintain kitchen equipment through preventive maintenance schedules
