Job Summary

Summary:   As a Catering Attendant at Boise Athletic Club, you play an important role in delivering exceptional hospitality during catered events and special functions. You will assist with event setup, food and beverage service, and maintaining clean and organized service areas while ensuring Levy’s standards for hospitality, food safety, and presentation are upheld. This role helps create seamless and memorable experiences for guests attending events at the Boise Athletic Club. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations.
• Logs and maintains food temperatures.
• Arranges tables and decorations.
• Arranges buffet tables with food, beverage and service items according to standards.
• Serve food and beverages to guests.
• Thoroughly cleans location after event is completed.
• Returns food and beverages, serving equipment and utensils to catering facility.
• Distributes and collects customer comment cards for catered functions.
• Stocks, cleans and maintains catering facility and equipment.
• Ensures guests receive friendly, courteous service at all times.
• Maintains in-depth knowledge of complete menu and products on hand.
• Maintains clean and safe work environment.
• Follows safety and sanitation policy and procedures at all times.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:  

• Assist with catering event setup including tables, buffets, service stations, and equipment
• Provide professional and attentive food and beverage service to guests
• Replenish food items and beverages throughout events as needed 
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of catering service areas
• Monitor food presentation and ensure items are properly displayed and stocked
• Assist catering supervisors and event leads with service coordination
• Follow all Levy safety, sanitation, and food handling standards
• Assist with breakdown including clearing tables, removing equipment, and cleaning service areas
• Maintain professional appearance and positive attitued when interacting with guests
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs
• Must obtain valid food handler certification
