Job Summary
Amazon’s Boston Seaport campus operates a high‑profile, full‑service café and coffee program. We’re seeking a Senior Café Manager (AGM‑level) to support daily operations across two units and deliver an exceptional experience for Amazon associates.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily café, coffee bar, and catering operations; support the General Manager across both units.
- Maintain strong cost controls for labor, food, and operational expenses.
- Lead, train, schedule, and coach staff to ensure outstanding service and execution.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
- Support culinary operations, menu execution, and product quality.
- Create signage for café, coffee bars, and catering.
- Coordinate product movement between units; ensure timely organization and delivery.
- Build strong relationships with Amazon staff and senior client partners.
- Contribute to special events, promotions, and daily reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience accepted.
- 3–5 years of food service experience, including 2+ years in a management/AGM‑level role.
- Strong leadership, training, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of food service operations, cash handling, and equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- ServSafe certification preferred.
