Job Summary
About the Role
Eurest is looking for a hospitality-obsessed Catering Manager to lead the charge at a busy Pfizer corporate dining location. This is a chance to build and lead a truly stellar, growing catering operation in a high-profile setting, while flexing your creative culinary operations muscles...one impactful event at a time.
You'll make sure every catered function is planned and executed flawlessly, from the first event order to the final invoice. You know the details matter, and you're committed to wowing our client and our diners, each and every day.
What You'll Do
- Oversee daily operations for all on-site catered events across a multi-building Pfizer campus
- Manage event order communications, scheduling, delivery, set-up, and clean-up
- Train, schedule, and develop service staff, and partner closely with the F&B team as an engaged, proactive communicator
- Bring tailored menus and culinary programs to life in collaboration with the culinary team
- Deliver exceptional guest service with a sharp eye for detail
- Manage financial results, including analysis and accurate invoicing for all events
- Oversee special events from concept through follow-through
What We're Looking For
- A.S. degree or equivalent experience
- At least two years of experience leading catering in corporate dining, hospitality, or events operations
- General hospitality knowledge and an interest in sustainability and sustainable food practices
- Comfort serving a diverse, high-volume customer base in a friendly, efficient way
- Ability to use a web-based ordering system to process requests, order changes, menu updates, and client profiles
- Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Polished, professional email writing skills for clients and customers
- Ability to work independently, solve problems, and get things done without direct instruction
- Ability to meet company uniform standards and use all required PPE per company guidelines
