Salary:  $65,000 - $75,000

Job Summary

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and growing organization. As the District Accounting Manager, you will oversee all accounting and iVend activities within the district branch. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and the ability to manage day-to-day financial operations while maintaining accuracy and compliance across multiple processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily payroll functions, including:

    • New staffing setup

    • Commission calculations

    • Quarterly bonus analysis

    • PTO accruals and reconciliations

  • Oversee inventory processes: conduct weekly verifications, review and approve adjustments, and manage overall variances

  • Analyze weekly financial and operational reports

  • Support period-end close activities related to payroll and inventory, ensuring accurate general ledger representation and timely balance sheet reconciliations

  • Maintain and enhance internal controls to ensure financial integrity and operational efficiency

  • Lead and support an office team of 5–6 associates, ensuring effective workflow and productivity

  • Maintain standard office hours and provide flexibility for additional tasks assigned by the Operations Controller

  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance or related field required. Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 2+ years of financial management or staff accounting experience required

  • Payroll experience required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint) and SAP

  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to present data effectively to multiple levels of the organization

  • Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends during month-end close
