Job Summary
Remote Sales Manager – Multi-Property Group Sales
Location: Remote (U.S.-based / prefer East Coast based)
About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and self-motivated Remote Sales Manager to support a portfolio of hospitality properties by managing inbound group inquiries and proactively generating new business in assigned markets. This fully remote role is ideal for a sales professional who excels at virtual relationship-building, prospecting, and converting leads across diverse industries and geographies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting & Business Development
- Conduct outbound sales efforts to uncover new group business opportunities in each property’s market.
- Use tools such as LinkedIn, Knowland, and market intelligence reports to target potential clients across industries including corporate, government, nonprofit, and education sectors.
- Develop and maintain a strong prospecting pipeline, with weekly outreach goals and measurable KPIs.
- Inbound Sales Management
- Serve as the primary sales contact for new group and event inquiries across assigned properties.
- Qualify leads quickly, provide tailored proposals, conduct virtual site tours, and follow up to secure bookings.
- Maintain detailed records of all leads, communications, and conversions in CRM systems.
- Account Management
- Nurture relationships with existing accounts to drive repeat business across the portfolio.
- Cross-sell opportunities among properties when appropriate based on group size, need dates, or market fit.
- Collaboration & Strategy
- Partner with on-property teams to understand availability, ideal business mix, and upcoming need periods.
- Participate in regular sales calls and strategy meetings with corporate and property-level sales teams.
- Offer insights into market trends, lead sources, and sales activity.
- Administrative & Reporting
- Manage all sales activity using CRM and lead management platforms.
- Prepare weekly reports on booking pace, lead status, and outreach efforts.
- Support digital proposal and contract processes using company-standard tools and templates.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 5+ years of group sales or hospitality sales experience (multi-property or remote experience preferred).
- Strong prospecting and lead generation skills with a track record of driving new business.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM platforms, virtual meeting tools (Zoom/Teams), and cloud-based systems.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision in a fully remote environment.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and organized.
