Job Summary
Wellness Coordinator. Compass Group USA, Inc. Boston, MA. At client site, ensure guest food allergy and restriction needs are met and communicated to the Restaurant Associates (RA) team. Determine special meals needed for guests and assist culinary and front-of-house team in providing these meals. Be available during mealtimes for guest questions on food allergies or restrictions. Create allergy sheets for meals in café and all other food locations in on-site living quarters. Manage Nutrislice digital signage platform by entering Nutrislice menus weekly, assisting Café Managers with digital signage, checking signage accuracy before meals and correcting as needed. Perform weekly maintenance. Host wellness tables with meal options and wellness education for café guests, promoting RA corporate and client wellness initiatives. Communicate regularly with Executive Education program managers and guests to ensure services meet standards and expectations. Provide nutrition analysis of recipes utilizing corporate nutrition analysis technology (Webtrition). Assist chefs with menu writing weekly. Work on wellness projects for RA as part of the Wellness team: create content for ForLife holistic wellness program, attend regular calls with Wellness team, speak on company-wide calls regarding wellness topics, etc. Create, communicate, and maintain allergy sheets to assist catering team with event food allergy need assessments. Maintain wellness-related educational content in the café server. Work M – F, 7:30am – 5:30pm (EST) and weekends as needed depending on special events. Salary Range: $93,500.00 - $115,000.00/year.
Requires at least a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related health science field or foreign equivalent. Requires three (3) years of experience applying or training others on nutritional principles including therapeutic diets and food allergy management in a clinical, pedagogical, community or food service environment, to include one (1) year: reviewing menus; conducting staff wellness and food allergy training; communicating sensitive meal requirements clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical parties.
