Job Summary
Porsche is seeking a dynamic and hospitality-driven Senior Catering Sales Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of exceptional catering and event experiences. This role is responsible for overseeing all internal and external catering operations, driving sales growth, cultivating client relationships, and ensuring flawless execution of high-end events that reflect the Porsche brand and guest experience standards.
The ideal candidate is a polished and strategic hospitality professional with a strong background in luxury events, catering sales, and operational leadership. This individual will partner closely with culinary, operations, and client teams to deliver innovative, elevated experiences while maintaining strong financial performance and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of internal and external catering events from concept through completion
- Develop customized event proposals, banquet event orders, contracts, and presentations tailored to client needs and brand standards
- Partner with culinary leadership to curate innovative menus and elevated dining experiences
- Drive catering sales initiatives and support business development efforts to grow revenue and client partnerships
- Oversee event logistics including staffing, setup, service execution, transportation, and post-event breakdown
- Manage catering budgets, financial forecasts, operating statements, and receivables while ensuring profitability goals are achieved
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop managers and event staff to support a high-performing hospitality culture
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards are consistently maintained
- Collaborate on new hospitality initiatives, service enhancements, and operational improvements
- Support special projects and additional hospitality initiatives as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience
- 3–5+ years of hospitality and catering sales experience, including leadership responsibility within luxury, corporate, or high-end event environments
- Proven track record of achieving sales goals and developing strong client relationships
- Strong knowledge of current food, beverage, and hospitality trends with an understanding of elevated service standards
- Experience creating event proposals, contracts, and customized menu presentations in collaboration with culinary teams
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, labor, and food costs
- Excellent leadership, coaching, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment while managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience with event logistics, audiovisual setup coordination, and large-scale event execution preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
- High level of professionalism, adaptability, integrity, and attention to detail
