The Director of Wellbeing will be responsible for the leadership and oversight of the following installations:
- Fort Bragg (NC), Fort Hood (TX), Fort Carson (CO) and Fort Drum (NY)
Setting: Located on U.S. Army installations, manages the Installation Dietitians (Senior Wellness and Allergy Managers) and lead all aspect of the program, including its implementation, execution and refinement to support soldiers, families, and the broader installation community.
Schedule: Full-time
- Hybrid remote/onsite; Travel - 70%
- Prefer candidates to be located anywhere in a metro area close to airport
Salary: $108k - $135k

Job Summary
The Director of Wellbeing provides leadership and oversight for the Performance Nutrition program across the assigned branch. Reporting to the Vice President of Nutrition and Wellness, this role leads Installation Dietitians (Wellness and Allergen Managers) and ensures successful program implementation, execution, and continuous refinement. The Director drives high standards, measurable outcomes, innovation, and team performance while aligning the program with company values, client expectations, and industry trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage execution of the Performance Nutrition program across the branch, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
- Oversee Installation Dietitians and Regional Performance Nutrition Managers, holding teams accountable for program success
- Develop, refine, and evolve the program using data-driven insights and feedback
- Set clear performance expectations focused on high-quality nutrition solutions and customer experience
- Ensure seamless program rollout and consistent execution across regional and branch locations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate initiatives into daily operations
- Establish and monitor KPIs and measurable goals to evaluate program effectiveness
- Lead data analysis and reporting to assess impact on engagement, satisfaction, and health outcomes
- Implement improvement initiatives based on performance metrics and client feedback
- Manage, mentor, and develop team members through coaching, performance reviews, and professional development
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and excellence
- Lead development of new initiatives and program enhancements to stay ahead of industry trends
- Oversee allergen management initiatives, ensuring safety standards, compliance, and education across accounts
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor
- Collaborate with the VP of Nutrition and Wellness to present program updates, progress reports, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership and clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required, with additional certifications in areas such as Wellness or Performance Nutrition preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in nutrition management, including at least 3-5 years in a leadership role overseeing teams and complex programs.
- Proven track record of driving program performance and implementing wellness initiatives at scale, ideally in a foodservice or healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety practices, with experience in developing and overseeing education programs.
- Experience in data analysis, program evaluation, and the use of performance metrics to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to mentor, develop, and inspire a team to achieve high performance.
