Compass Technology is seeking a Technology Analyst to support the execution and governance of technology initiatives and vendor partnerships across Canteen’s consumer-facing technology ecosystem. 

This role operates at the intersection of technology delivery, vendor management, cybersecurity, and business operations, supporting the successful implementation of innovative and secure technology solutions across the organization. This role will be a critical part in enabling Canteen’s next-generation consumer experiences by ensuring technology solutions are delivered securely, efficiently, and at scale across thousands of locations. 

The Technology Analyst will partner with internal technology teams, operations leaders, and external technology vendors to coordinate initiatives such as system integrations, operating system upgrades, security assessments, and technology deployments across a large-scale distributed environment comprised of connected kiosks, smart markets and payment devices. 

Responsibilities:

Vendor Coordination & Governance 

• Partner with the Technology Project Manager to support management of a portfolio of technology vendors delivering front-of-house technology solutions. 
• Coordinate activities between vendors and internal stakeholders including technology, cybersecurity, legal, operations, and vendor management teams. 
• Support vendor onboarding, vendor documentation, and ongoing vendor governance activities. 

Requirements & Technology Analysis 

• Gather, document, and analyze business and technical requirements for technology initiatives. 
• Translate complex technical discussions into clear documentation and actionable updates for business stakeholders. 

Security & Risk Management 

• Support vendor security assessments and compliance reviews in partnership with cybersecurity teams. 
• Assist in tracking remediation plans and security findings across the technology vendor portfolio. 
• Help ensure vendor technologies adhere to enterprise IT controls and security protocols. 

Program Reporting & Documentation 

• Maintain documentation including requirements, implementation plans, and testing artifacts. 
• Develop initiative reporting including milestone tracking, status updates, and risk summaries. 
• Provide structured updates and insights to leadership and key stakeholders. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field. 
• 2–5 years of experience in technology analysis, business analysis, consulting, vendor coordination, or project delivery roles. 
• Experience supporting technology implementations, integrations, or infrastructure upgrades. 
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience working with technology vendors or third-party platforms. 
• Familiarity with enterprise technology ecosystems, APIs, or system integrations. 
• Exposure to vendor risk management, security assessments, or IT compliance processes. 
• Experience with project management or collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft SQL.
