Job Summary
The Project Manager, Strategic Initiatives plays a key role in driving high-impact, enterprise-wide initiatives that support SSC’s growth, operational excellence, and long-term business strategy. This position is part of the Strategic Initiatives team and provides the opportunity to lead projects that deliver measurable business value across multiple functions and stakeholders.
The role focuses on two primary areas:

Operational Readiness & Business Support
- Lead operational planning and execution for new account launches, business expansions, transitions, and account closures.
- Ensure seamless implementation and stakeholder alignment during critical business milestones.

Continuous Improvement & Change Management
- Drive process optimization, training enhancements, and large-scale organizational change initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and service delivery across the organization.
The successful candidate will manage projects from conception through completion, influence cross-functional teams, and champion change that supports SSC’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of strategic projects across the organization.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and success metrics aligned with business goals.
- Analyze business processes, workflows, and operational challenges to identify solutions and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including resource requirements, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
- Monitor project progress, evaluate results, and adjust plans as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Drive adoption of new processes, systems, and initiatives through effective change management strategies.
- Prepare and deliver project updates, recommendations, and executive-level presentations.
- Coordinate project activities with regulatory agencies, government entities, and external partners when applicable.
- Support additional strategic initiatives and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 1-3 years of project management, business operations, consulting, process improvement, or related experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and project execution discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Positive, proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting operational transitions, business implementations, or organizational change initiatives.
- Exposure to continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or process optimization frameworks.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
